On-Line UPS

On-line UPS are so-called because the inverter (the part which produces the AC output) is always on-line. They are much more reliable since, should the inverter fail, they simply drop back to mains power and sound an alarm. In addition, their double conversion design ensures excellent output power quality even when the incoming mains supply is poor or faulty.

Smart-UPS On-Line provides high density, double-conversion power protection for servers, voice & data networks, medical labs, and light industrial applications. Capable of supporting loads from 1 to 20kVA in a rack/tower convertible form, the Smart-UPS On-Line is available from 2U to 12U. Recent family extensions at 15 and 20kVA enable support of power hungry blade servers or heavily loaded equipment racks.

The range can be configured with matching battery packs to comply with aggressive runtime demands. The included PowerChute management software provides unattended graceful shutdown of network operating systems. All models 5kVA and above include an integrated Network Management Card for remote management (optional on models below 5 kVA).

Borri Rotation SeriesBorri Rotation Series
The Rotation Series makes an ideal power protection solution for Server, Network, EPOS, Industrial, CCTV, Telecommunications and Medical Equipment. Its online double conversion technology is hugely beneficial since the supply is restructured to provide a clean output. Each UPS in the range can be configured for free standing or rack installation.

The comms slots allow for additional network connectivity, providing great versatility in communication and monitoring between the user and their UPS. Batteries can be safely changed whilst in use avoiding the need for server shutdown. Of particular interest is the ability to shutdown nominated output sockets under mains fail conditions which permits load-shedding in order that more critical equipment can run longer.

It delivers on-line double conversion protection in Tower or versatile Rack/Tower format.
Riello Sentinel ProRiello Sentinel Pro
SENTINEL PRO is the latest evolution of the successful Riello Dialog Plus online UPS. This latest development has been designed with the environment in mind and is part of the Riello ECO Line of UPS.

SENTINEL PRO is an on-line double-conversion UPS offering the highest levels of reliability and protection for critical servers, voice and data processing IT systems.

For long runtime applications, Sentinel Pro (ER models) can be fitted with matching battery extension packs which also include additional battery boost chargers.

In terms of communications, each Sentinel Pro has a built-in mimic panel with an LCD to show input and output voltages, and battery charge status. The inverter is a totally new design, fully microprocessor controlled and constructed to achieve the highest levels of operating efficiency and configuration options. SENTINEL PRO UPS also have USB communication ports as standard, with a built-in expansion slot for additional adapters, protocol converters and relate contact cards.

The UPS is highly efficient. SENTINEL PRO is designed to save energy and has a power-off push-button feature to reduce energy consumption to zero, when no load is connected or switched off.

Sentinel Pro models include 700VA, 1000VA, 1500VA, 2200VA and 3000VA.
