In a completely unique initiative, UPS Systems has teamed up with Air Liquide to be able to lease a range of fuel cell generators to their customers, a first for the UK market and part of UPS Systems’ approach to develop the use of fuel cells in the UK and help develop the market place.
These fuel cells provide an emissions-free and silent alternative to power provision for remote locations where access to mains grid power is difficult. The units are silent when operational, easy to deploy and require little maintenance and will provide unlimited runtime as long as they are supplied with fuel.
For those commercial organisations considering the use of fuel cells within their operations this new rental scheme also provides a completely risk-free opportunity to trial fuel cell power for a period of time and experience their benefits.

The Energy Container:
A Completely containerised unit fuel cell generator providing:
- Up to 2.5kW of SILENT, emissions-free power
- All system electronics and controls
- Up to 1 months hydrogen fuel supply for continuous use
Ideal for use on construction and remote sites, or for power for events and festivals

Mobixane:
A compact portable unit providing:
- Up to 2.5kW of power
- Standard hydrogen storage provided to provide eight hours runtime (can be extended with extra fuel if required).
Ideal for many uses where portable silent emissions-free power is required such as applications for the entertainment industry, on TV and film sets.

Commpac 500:
A lower powered power solution providing:
- Up to 0.5kW of power
- Hydrogen storage can be supplied for any specified runtime.
Ideal for remote sites without easy access to the grid where unlimited runtime is required.
